This unique 1888 building was purchased and historically
restored by artist Janet Powers and her husband Paul Stanton in 1999. The building was the first Edo Miller funeral home,
evolving from a place of mourning to a gallery for the celebration of fine art.
Located in historic downtown Brunswick the Gallery on Newcastle showcases Janet's work, which includes lush oil landscapes
of the local salt marsh, as well as 18 other well-known artists from the Southeastern U.S. To compliment the art are
artifacts and antiques from China, Indonesia, and Mexico.
